Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting seeks an experienced Event Sales Manager to grow the private event business for an upscale hospitality operation in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This hands-on role requires converting inquiries into bookings and coordinating events from planning through execution, collaborate with culinary, service, and entertainment teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of event sales or related hospitality experience.
• Proven success generating event revenue and meeting sales goals.
• Established DFW business relationships strongly preferred.
• Experience coordinating events within restaurants, venues, or entertainment environments.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-through skills.
• Familiarity with CRM or event management systems.
• Flexibility to work on-site and attend events as needed.

Responsibilities

• Generate new event business through prospecting and relationship development.
• Manage inbound inquiries, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close bookings.
• Develop event packages and customized offerings for clients.
• Maintain an organized sales pipeline and event management process.
• Coordinate event logistics with culinary, beverage, service, and entertainment teams.
• Oversee client communication and event execution.
• Develop repeat business through corporate accounts, planners, and referrals.
• Collaborate with marketing to support event sales initiatives.
• Track bookings, sales activity, and revenue performance.
