Job summary

The Crescent Hotel Fort Worth, part of Highgate Hotels, seeks a Catering Sales Manager to drive new catering accounts and manage events from prospecting through execution. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in wedding or catering sales within luxury hospitality, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple events with attention to detail in the Dallas/Fort Worth market.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in wedding sales, catering sales, luxury hospitality, or social event management.
• Professional communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Knowledge of luxury wedding trends in Dallas/ Fort Worth wedding market is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales for social and corporate events including weddings, rehearsals, galas, and holiday parties.
• Actively solicit new business and respond to inquiries promptly to confirm profitable events and achieve sales goals.
• Manage inquiries, qualifying leads, conducting site tours, and converting opportunities.
• Negotiate with clients using creative proposals to maximize revenue while meeting contractual obligations.
• Manage client relationships throughout planning, ensuring event details are executed accordingly.
• Plan and participate in meetings with hotel staff and clients (Resume Meetings, Planning Visits, Menu Tastings).
• Build relationships with wedding planners, designers, photographers, florists, and other luxury professionals.
• Stay informed on industry trends and recommend enhancements to wedding offerings and guest experiences.
• Foster partnerships across Catering, Conference Services, Culinary, Banquets, Rooms, and Marketing.
