Job summary

Invited is seeking a Sous Chef to support daily kitchen operations, oversee line cooks and staff, and ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, and cleanliness for our Members and Guests.

You will assist in menu development for ala carte and banquet dining, hire and train team members, manage schedules and payroll, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while delivering the exceptional service our clubs are known for.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary role.
• Health and Sanitation certification (ServeSafe).
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the line cooks and kitchen staff, ensuring consistent quality in food preparation, presentation, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Assist in menu development for ala carte and banquet menus, and handle special requests from Members or the Executive Chef.
• Hire, train, supervise, and performance-manage kitchen staff; manage work schedules and monitor payroll costs.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations and interact professionally with members and guests.
