Job summary

Invited is seeking a Sous Chef to support daily kitchen operations, oversee line cooks, ensure consistent quality in food preparation and presentation, and uphold health and safety standards.

You will assist in menu development, supervise staff, and manage schedules while contributing to a superior dining experience for Members and Guests. This role demands flexibility, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary role.
• Valid Health and Sanitation certification (ServeSafe).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist line cooks and kitchen staff to ensure quality and presentation.
• Participate in menu development for ala carte and banquet menus.
• Hire, train, supervise, and performance-manage kitchen staff.
• Manage schedules and monitor payroll costs.
