Job summary

Durst Image Technology US is seeking a Field Service Technician for the printing industry. You will install and service printers, train customers, and diagnose issues in remote or onsite settings.

The role requires heavy equipment maintenance experience, willingness to travel up to 75% across the USA/Canada, and strong communication skills. A valid driver license and physical stamina are essential.

Qualifications

• Heavy, industrial equipment maintenance knowledge/experience.
• Installation/support experience onsite as field tech/engineer.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% across the USA and Canada, with occasional weekend work.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and good dexterity.
• Strong electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver license and ability to pass pre-employment checks.
• Physical ability to stand/walk most of the day and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install and service printers to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Train customers on operating our printers.
• Diagnose, repair and resolve printer issues via remote support or onsite service.
• Support sales activities by passing information/opportunities to Sales.
• Communicate with stakeholders to coordinate activities and deliver on commitments.
• Document/service calls and resolutions in Salesforce.
