Job summary

Durst Image Technology US is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, repair, relocate and support Durst printers across North America. You will train customers and maximize equipment uptime while delivering excellent service.

The role requires hands-on mechanical aptitude, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 75% (overnight travel). A high school diploma is required; experience in printing or related industry is preferred and a valid driver's license is a must.

Qualifications

• Experience in printing or related industry
• Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient computer skills
• English proficiency
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time (including overnight)
• Valid driver license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associates degree or equivalent training and/or experience (bonus)

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and effective installation of Durst products and services.
• Perform initial operator/maintenance training as required.
• Maximize equipment uptime through timely repair and maintenance.
• Efficiently manage assets and resources to achieve targeted financial results.
• Communicate professionally with customers and teams and maintain a positive image.
• Complete all job-related administrative tasks on time and without errors.
