Job summary

Durst Image Technology US is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install and service Durst products across North America. You will train customers, perform repairs, and ensure high equipment uptime while representing the company professionally.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on mechanical skills, familiarity with printing or related fields, and a willingness to travel nationally. A valid driver’s license and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in printing or related industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time (USA & Canada).
• Valid driver license.
• English proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install Durst products and services in a timely, cost-effective manner.
• Provide initial operator/maintenance training at the customer site.
• Maximize equipment uptime through prompt repairs and maintenance.
• Manage assets and resources to meet financial targets.
• Communicate professionally with customers, sales, and service teams.
• Complete all call reports, parts returns, and time/expense reporting accurately.
