Job summary

Durst Image Technology US seeks a Field Service Engineer to ensure timely installation, repair and support of Durst products. You will train customers, maximize uptime and manage resources across USA and Canada.

Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 75% with occasional overnight trips. High school diploma or equivalent and valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time (USA & Canada).
• Valid driver license.
• English proficiency.
• Experience or training in mechanical discipline.
• Experience in printing or related industry is a plus.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install Durst products and services in customer sites.
• Provide operator/maintenance training to customers.
• Maximize equipment uptime through timely repairs and maintenance.
• Manage parts, tools, travel and expenses to meet financial targets.
• Communicate professionally with customers, sales and service peers.
• Complete all job-related admin tasks on time and accurately.
