Job summary

Durst Image Technology US is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, repair, relocate, and support Durst products nationwide, with emphasis on the Western region. You will travel across the USA and Canada, providing hands-on maintenance and customized operator training.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; experience in printing or related industries is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in printing or related industry.
• Great attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and good dexterity.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time (or more during training).
• Valid driver license.
• English proficiency.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull boxes.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and effective installation of Durst products and services.
• Perform effective initial customer operator/maintenance training, as required.
• Maximize Durst equipment uptime through timely response and maintenance for high customer satisfaction.
• Efficiently manage utilization of Durst assets and resources to achieve financial targets.
• Communicate professionally with customers, sales, and service counterparts.
• Complete all job-related administrative tasks on time and accurately.
