Job summary

Durst Image Technology US is seeking a Field Service Engineer to ensure timely installation, repair, relocation, and technical support of Durst products across North America, maintaining high customer satisfaction. You will train operators, maximize equipment uptime, manage parts and travel resources, and communicate professionally with customers and sales teams to uphold Durst standards of service.

This role requires heavy travel (up to 75%), strong mechanical skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Previous experience in printing or related industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time (or more during training) - mostly overnight travel USA & Canada.
• Valid driver license and English proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and effective installation of Durst products and services.
• Perform initial operator/maintenance training as required.
• Maximize Durst equipment uptime through timely repair and maintenance.
• Efficiently manage assets and travel/resources to achieve targeted financial results.
• Communicate professionally with customers, sales and service counterparts.
• Complete all job-related administrative tasks on time and error free.
