Job summary

Canon Business Process Services, Inc. is seeking a Copy Operator to deliver excellent customer service and manage client copy/print needs.

You will follow production processes to produce quality finished materials using print and repro equipment, and provide basic troubleshooting for copiers and printers. Responsibilities include prioritizing print requests, meeting deadlines, maintaining logs, performing minor equipment maintenance, taking meter readings, tracking supplies, and informing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-5 years experience in a print center.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; able to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Review, prioritize and submit print requests according to complexity and urgency.
• Deliver print jobs within established timeframes; maintain logs of all work submitted and completed including service logs.
• Responsible for minor maintenance of reproduction equipment by solving paper jams; placing service calls and routine cleaning.
• Take meter readings of each duplicating machine daily; monitor inventory of print supplies, stock paper and toners.
• Inform clients of estimated completion time and delays; resolve complaints to the client's satisfaction.
• Open/close print center; help keep the center neat and professional looking.
• Adjust image quality and manage on-demand printing orders; create folders/directories for print on demand orders.
• Prepare monthly production and volume reports for billing.
