Job summary
eBay, through its TCGplayer subsidiary, seeks a senior designer to own and evolve the design system across our commerce platform. You will partner with Design and Engineering to implement standards in both Figma and production code, shaping scalable, accessible product experiences.
You will lead governance, documentation, and tooling, advancing tokens, components, and workflows while elevating visual language and UX patterns for desktop and mobile experiences across multiple products.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience designing and evolving enterprise-scale design systems.
- Strong portfolio of elegant, polished product experiences.
- Experience with AI-assisted design and design-to-code workflows.
- Experience collaborating with Design, Product, and Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve TCGplayer's design system across the commerce ecosystem.
- Collaborate with Design and Engineering to implement systems in Figma and code.
- Define governance, standards, and documentation for scalable systems.
- Advance tooling by developing component libraries, tokens, and workflows.
- Raise quality by improving visual language, accessibility, and UX patterns.
- Partner with UX Design and Product on strategic roadmaps and design sprints.
- Champion modern workflows including AI-assisted design and design-to-code.
