Job summary

eBay is seeking a senior leader to own and evolve the TCGplayer design system within our commerce ecosystem. You will define visual language, tokens, and reusable components, partnering with Design and Engineering to implement across Figma and code.

You will push accessibility, scalable patterns for desktop, web, and mobile, and drive AI-assisted design-to-code pipelines. Strong cross-functional communication is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Product, UX, Visual, or Experience Design with enterprise-scale design systems experience.
• Expertise in design systems architecture, including component libraries, tokens, variables, governance, and scalable contribution models.
• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills with a portfolio showing elegant, polished product experiences.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design and design-to-code workflows.
• Experience designing for desktop, responsive web, and native mobile across platforms.
• Deep understanding of how design systems are implemented in code with close engineering collaboration.
• Ability to define and evolve design languages and UX standards for multiple products and teams.
• Experience creating scalable design system capabilities adopted across an organization.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve TCGplayer's design system across the commerce ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Design and Engineering to implement design system in Figma and code.
• Define and maintain design standards, governance, and contribution models for scalability.
• Develop component libraries, design tokens, and workflows to boost designer productivity.
• Raise accessibility and UX quality across products with a customer-centric approach.
• Partner with UX Design and Product teams on roadmap initiatives and design sprints.
• Champion modern design and development workflows, including AI-assisted design.
