Job summary
eBay is seeking a Principal Product Designer for Design Systems focused on TCGplayer to shape the future of our product experience by evolving the shared design system across our commerce ecosystem. You will define standards, governance, and tooling, partnering with design and engineering to implement in Figma and code.
The role emphasizes accessibility, cross‑platform patterns, and scalable system work across desktop, web, and mobile, with an eye toward AI‑assisted workflows and enterprise
Qualifications
- 8+ years in Product, UX, or Design for enterprise-grade systems.
- Experience designing and evolving design systems for complex products.
- Strong knowledge of design tokens, governance, and scalable libraries.
- Familiar with AI-assisted design workflows and design-to-code pipelines.
- Proven ability to ship across desktop, web, and mobile platforms.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve TCGplayer's design system across our commerce ecosystem.
- Partner with Design and Engineering to implement in Figma and code.
- Define standards, governance, and documentation to enable scaling.
- Advance tooling with component libraries, tokens, and workflows.
- Raise quality with accessible UX patterns and cross-team alignment.
