Job summary

eBay’s TCGplayer team seeks a senior design leader to Own and evolve the design system across our commerce ecosystem. You’ll establish visual language, patterns, and reusable components, partnering with Design and Engineering to implement in Figma and production code.

You’ll shape governance, tokens, and tooling, driving accessibility and scalable UX standards across multiple products and teams while advancing AI-assisted design and design-to-code workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Product, UX, Visual, or Experience Design for enterprise-scale systems.
• Expertise in design systems architecture including components, tokens, documentation and governance.
• Strong portfolio of elegant, highly polished product experiences translated into reusable assets.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design and design-to-code workflows; interest in future design systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve TCGplayer's design system across the commerce ecosystem with reusable components.
• Collaborate with Design and Engineering to implement design system in Figma and code.
• Define governance, standards, and contribution models for system scaling.
• Develop component libraries, tokens, variables, and workflows to boost designer productivity.
• Raise quality via accessible visual language and UX patterns across products.
• Partner with UX Design and Product on roadmaps and vision work for new interaction patterns.
• Advocate modern workflows including AI-assisted design and design-to-code pipelines.
