Job summary

TCGplayer, a subsidiary of eBay, is seeking an accomplished Design Systems leader to own and evolve our scalable design language across its commerce platform. You will collaborate with Design and Engineering to implement consistent experiences in both visual design and production code.

You will champion modern workflows, including AI-assisted design, and build reusable system assets, tokens, and governance to support future growth across desktop, web, and mobile experiences.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Product, UX, Visual, or Experience Design for enterprise-scale design systems.
• Strong architecture of design systems with components, tokens, variables, governance, and scalable contribution models.
• Exceptional visual/interation design skills with a portfolio demonstrating polished product experiences and reusable assets.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design and design-to-code workflows; interest in future of product development.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve TCGplayer's design system across the commerce ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Design and Engineering to implement the design system in Figma and in code.
• Define standards, governance, and contribution models to scale the system as the organization grows.
• Advance tooling by maintaining component libraries, tokens, and workflows to boost designer productivity.
• Raise quality by evolving visual language, accessibility, and UX patterns across products.
