Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate to join our Tech Recruiting Team. You will partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand talent needs and manage the full lifecycle recruiting process, from sourcing to offer.

You will influence and build diverse candidate pipelines, promote Capital One’s talent brand, and use data to drive hiring results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 3 years of experience in recruiting OR 3 years of experience in human resources OR 3 years of client consulting experience OR a combination of the three.
• PHR certification (preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in Corporate Recruiting – full life cycle, research, and sourcing (preferred).
• 2+ years experience consulting with multiple hiring managers at once while developing relationships (preferred).
• Ability to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment (preferred).
• Experience in compensation and general HR requirements as related to hiring (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and business, group or organization leads, and key stakeholders to understand unique talent needs.
• Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process and hiring deliverables, including creating position descriptions, sourcing diverse pipelines, marketing Capital One’s talent brand, screening candidates, advising on process, and negotiating offers.
• Candidate management—develop sourcing plans to identify and recruit top talent, managing from identification to offer extension and closing.
• Work cross-functionally across a team of recruiters and promote a culture of inspiration, empowerment and inclusion.
• Leverage recruiting data to provide status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners.
• Source stellar candidates using search engines, career sites, events, and other sourcing techniques.
