Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate to join our Professional Talent Acquisition Recruiting Team. You will source and build talent pipelines, manage candidates through the recruiting process, provide guidance to our Talent Acquisition teams and participate in projects that improve the candidate experience.

This hybrid role partners with hiring managers, creates compelling job descriptions, sources diverse pipelines, screens candidates and negotiates offers, using data to drive hiring

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• 5+ years of recruiting, HR, or client consulting experience.
• PHR certification preferred.
• 7+ years corporate recruiting experience.
• Experience consulting with multiple hiring managers.
• Ability to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using innovative sourcing techniques.
• Experience with compensation and general HR requirements related to hiring.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and align recruiting plans.
• Manage full lifecycle recruiting including descriptions, sourcing, screening and offers.
• Develop candidate pipelines from identification to closure.
• Collaborate with recruiters to promote inclusion and a positive candidate experience.
• Use recruiting data to report status and outcomes to leadership and HR partners.
• Source top talent through diverse channels and proactive outreach.
