Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Principal Systems Engineer - Signal and Sensor Modeling to develop advanced, physics-based modeling solutions in the DoD Space. You will deploy cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with diverse teams to enable engineers to understand energy transport and design AI-enabled hardware solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics or a related STEM field.
• Experience with OO software design in C++ and C; MATLAB or Python for data evaluation.
• Proficiency with UNIX/Linux, macOS, or Windows command line.
• Background in EO/RF domains or radar/Imaging systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop novel modeling solutions for EO/RF phenomena.
• Create maintainable C++ models within an extensible software environment.
• Collaborate across teams to solve physics and software challenges.
• Mentor peers and share EO/RF expertise.
