Job summary

Raytheon seeks a Principal System Security Engineer to deliver holistic cybersecurity solutions for Warfighter technology advantage. The role is onsite in Tewksbury, MA, coordinating security activities across engineering teams and serving as the technical interface with customers, leadership, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

You will develop plans, manage risks, ensure RMF compliance, and guide SSE architectures and DoD release policies. U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
8+ years of prior relevant experience.
Active and transferable U.S. Secret clearance required before start.
U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.
Experience in System Security Engineering, cybersecurity, or embedded security.
Experience with NIST RMF and DoD security standards.

Responsibilities

Coordinate cybersecurity activities across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Interface with customers, program leadership, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Develop plans and estimates; execute tasks; manage project tracking and reporting.
Identify risks and create mitigation plans.
Ensure RMF controls compliance.
Consult on SSE architecture and DoD policy issues.
Support bids and proposals.
Define security requirements and implement controls across devices and software.
