Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Systems Security Engineering Section Lead to guide the SSE team onsite, shaping cyber‑resilient systems across critical defense programs.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, strong SSE/Cybersecurity engineering background, and experience with RMF. You will lead hiring, planning, and execution while partnering with program managers and customers to meet security objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one before start date.
• Experience in System Security Engineering and/or Cybersecurity Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead SSE section with workforce planning, performance coaching, and talent development.
• Define SSE requirements with Program Managers, CAMs, IPTLs and customers.
• Ensure compliance with NIST RMF controls and security engineering best practices.
