RTX Corporation in TEWKSBURY, MA is seeking a Principal System Security Engineer (Cybersecurity) -P4 to join our elite Systems Security Engineering (SSE) team onsite. You will tackle cyber security across embedded weapons systems, defense programs, and DoD policy compliance.

The role requires a STEM degree, 8 years of relevant experience, and an active Secret clearance. You will lead architecture, risk management, and security testing efforts while coordinating with customers and suppliers to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8 years of relevant experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. Secret security clearance required.
• Experience in System Security Engineering, reverse engineering, cyber security, or embedded security.
• Experience with NIST RMF and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cybersecurity activities across engineering teams and interface with customers and stakeholders.
• Develop plans, estimates, execution, tracking, reporting, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with NIST RMF controls.
• Support SSE architecture and issue resolution with program management.
• Assist in bids and proposals.
• Define security development and test efforts for devices and systems.
• Integrate cybersecurity development activities across disciplines.
• Develop system requirements and flow down to subsystems.
• Understand and comply with DoD release and export licensing policies.
