Job summary

enGen seeks a visionary Principal Software Engineer to build scalable public-facing applications across Digital Member Experience channels. You will own end-to-end software delivery, shaping architectures from client experiences to backend services, data stores, and event pipelines.

A strong focus on PHI security, authorization and encryption is required. You will drive Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), lead vendor integrations, and present strategic solutions to leadership and security

Qualifications

9 years in design and analysis of scalable, highly available systems.
9 years with 2+ languages and experience with React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL.
9 years with REST/HTTPS/JSON web services.
9 years coding in multiple languages including Java, Python, JavaScript, C/C++, etc.
9 years defining system architectures and non-functional trade-offs.

Responsibilities

Lead resolution of technical and business problems ensuring scalability, performance, security, and robustness.
Generate and implement technical solutions to achieve product features and monitor progress against plan.
Explore new technologies and architectural concepts to keep products cutting-edge.
Participate in high-level development estimations to support roadmap execution.
Mentor and provide leadership to other software engineers.
