Job summary

enGen seeks a Principal Software Engineer to design and deliver scalable, enterprise-grade digital applications across member experience channels. You will own the full SDLC with focus on PHI security, authorization, gating, encryption, audits, and compliance, leading architectures end-to-end from client to API gateways.

You will mentor teams, drive ADRs, and lead vendor integrations while balancing business strategy with technical execution in a hybrid cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 9 years with two modern programming languages and multiple tech stacks.
• Experience with React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5/CSS and cloud platforms.
• 9 years building scalable, secure, high-availability systems.
• 9 years defining system architectures and trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Lead scalable, secure, high-performance software solutions.
• Evaluate and implement cutting-edge technical approaches.
• Contribute to roadmap and ensure delivery against plans.
• Provide estimation input for architectural work and feature delivery.
• Present designs to engineering, architecture reviews and leadership.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical excellence.
