Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead architectural vision for FuzeRx, guiding multiple squads across our digital pharmacy and care platforms. You will mentor senior engineers, enforce design reviews, and drive secure, scalable systems within AWS and PostgreSQL stacks.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Product and Pharmacy Operations, adherence to HIPAA/SOC2, and building high-throughput, reliable services. Extensive experience in HealthTech environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering and systems design.
• Experience building scalable B2B SaaS and highly available systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve target architecture for core platforms.
• Mentor staff and elevate engineering discipline and reviews.
• Establish engineering standards across coding, testing, CI/CD, security.
• Collaborate with Product, PMs, and Pharmacy Ops for alignment.
• Partner with InfoSec to ensure HIPAA/SOC2 compliance.
• Drive performance, latency reduction, and DB efficiency.
• Evaluate new tools and AWS services with proof-of-concepts.
