Job summary

United Future is hiring a Principal Planner for its Rochester, NH facility. This onsite role partners across Operations to manage master scheduling, inventory planning, and timely work orders while aligning with contractual commitments.

You will drive MRP signals, lead continuous improvement, and mentor others in planning best practices. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in business or related field, 10+ years in a global production setting, and strong experience with MRP/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (or equivalent).
• 10+ years in a global production/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with MRP signals and ERP systems to ensure policy compliance.
• APICS certification would be a plus.
• Proficiency with Oracle EBS/ASCP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage critical supply chain deadlines and align with customer expectations.
• Improve accuracy and effectiveness of MRP signals to support production and inventory flow.
• Partner with Operations and Production to resolve issues and keep manufacturing on track.
• Monitor schedules, track performance, and mitigate delivery risks.
• Identify end-of-life inventory and new product implementations with minimal supervision.
• Leverage data from multiple systems to deliver analytics to leadership.
• Act as escalation point within Planning and drive cross-functional solutions.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce costs and strengthen supply chain performance.
• Provide guidance on Oracle ASCP to elevate planning capabilities.
