Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 2 years of relevant experience (Mechanical Engineer).
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree with 3 years (Principal Engineer).
• U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance active within last 6 years, with ability to obtain SAP approval.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mechanical designer for mechanical systems on a major Northrop Grumman Defense Systems program.
• Research, plan, design, and develop mechanical products for aerospace uses.
• Develop CAD models and 3D drawings using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Verify specifications through modeling, testing, and analysis.
• Support all lifecycle phases from design to maintenance.
