Northrop Grumman is seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our Defense Systems team supporting the Sentinel program. The role involves design, development, production, and deployment of launch equipment hardware and systems for multiple weapon facilities.

The engineer will collaborate with users and customers, develop CAD models, perform analyses, and contribute to the full lifecycle from concept to maintenance. Clearance is required for start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field.
• 2+ years (level 2) or 5+ years (level 3) of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mechanical designer for mechanical systems on a major Defense Systems program.
• Develop CAD models and 3D drawings using Siemens NX and Team Center.
• Support all phases of the systems lifecycle including design, fabrication, test, installation and maintenance.
