Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or professional designation such as CIC or CPCU.
• Five+ years in direct insurance sales or account management.
• Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to expand our footprint in the Baltimore area.
• Oversee a portfolio of complex commercial and personal lines accounts to ensure high retention.
• Partner with local business owners to identify and bridge gaps in their current coverage plans.
• Mentor junior staff members by sharing technical knowledge and effective negotiation techniques.
• Represent our agency at community events and industry networking gatherings.
• Collaborate with underwriting teams to advocate for the best terms and pricing for your clients.

• Five or more years of experience in direct insurance sales or account management.
• Strong command of agency management systems and digital rating platforms.
• Demonstrated history of managing a profitable book of business.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional designation such as CIC or CPCU.
