• Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to expand our agency footprint throughout the Yorktown region.
• Recruit, onboard, and train a diverse group of independent insurance agents to ensure top-tier production and compliance.
• Provide ongoing mentorship to agents, helping them refine their sales techniques and client service standards.
• Foster a collaborative culture where agents feel supported, valued, and encouraged to reach their professional potential.
• Analyze sales metrics and regional trends to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers to ensure our agents have access to the most competitive products for their clients.
• Represent The Atlantic District at industry events and community functions to build brand awareness and professional credibility.

Requirements

• Active Virginia Life and Health Insurance License.
• Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing insurance distribution networks.
• Deep knowledge of life, health, and annuity product lines.
• Strong track record of recruiting, mentoring, and retaining independent agents.
• Solid understanding of regional market dynamics in Virginia.
• Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills for lead generation and agency development.
• Strong proficiency in agency management software and digital sales platforms.
