Job summary

The Atlantic District in Scranton, PA is seeking a Principal General Agent to lead and mentor a team of insurance agents. You will recruit talent, train for product knowledge, and steer strategic sales plans to expand market share in the Scranton region.

You will coach individuals toward achievement of performance targets while cultivating a collaborative office culture and a client-first approach across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License.
• Track record of building and managing a successful insurance sales team.
• Deep knowledge of life insurance and annuity product lines.
• Strong public speaking skills for training and field recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, recruit, and mentor a talented group of insurance agents to grow our local presence.
• Provide hands-on training to ensure every team member understands our product portfolio and client-first approach.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase our market share throughout the Scranton area.
• Lead by example by participating in field appointments and demonstrating effective sales techniques.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide ongoing feedback to help individual agents reach their professional goals.
