Job summary

Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a Principal Engineer to shape the architectural vision for our core B2B and consumer platforms, guiding design across multiple squads and ensuring scalable, secure systems.

You will mentor staff engineers, establish standards for code, tests, and CI/CD, and work with Product, Pharmacy Operations, and InfoSec to meet regulatory requirements while delivering high-performance health tech solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering and systems design.
• Experience building and scaling distributed, high-throughput B2B SaaS or transactional systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the target architecture for FuzeRx's core B2B and consumer platforms.
• Mentor Staff, Senior, and Mid-level engineers; promote engineering excellence.
• Establish coding standards, testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and security-by-design principles.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering Managers, and Pharmacy Operations to align architecture with business goals.
• Partner with InfoSec on HIPAA and SOC2 compliance, data privacy and secure messaging.
• Spearhead performance optimization to reduce latency and improve PostgreSQL/AWS efficiency.
• Evaluate new tools and run POCs to improve the FuzeRx ecosystem.
