Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Principal Engineer to guide the architectural vision for FuzeRx and related platforms. You will shape the technical strategy across squads, align with product and compliance needs, and mentor a broad engineering organization to deliver scalable, secure healthcare software.

You will drive high-stakes initiatives in API integrations, fulfillment logistics, and data integrity while upholding HIPAA and SOC 2 standards, reporting to the VP of Engineering.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
• Experience building distributed, high-throughput B2B SaaS or transactional systems.
• Deep knowledge of HIPAA/SOC 2 compliance and secure by design principles.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the target architecture for core platforms and API integrations.
• Mentor Staff/Senior engineers and raise engineering standards across teams.
• Collaborate with Product Mgmt and Pharmacy Ops to align architecture with business goals.
• Lead design reviews, CI/CD practices, and security-by-design implementations.
• Drive performance, reliability, and database efficiency in AWS/PgSQL stack.
