Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Subsystems Digital Principal Engineer in Tucson, AZ to lead digital design efforts for development guidance systems within the AE G S Department. The role requires strong architecture skills, CAM experience, and the ability to work across hardware and software teams. Active and transferable U.S.

government Secret clearance is required on day one. Travel up to 25% may be needed, with relocation possible for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) required.
• Eight years of experience in analog, digital, and power electronics design and integration.
• Experience in digital sub-systems, system engineering, and CCA design.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support digital design efforts for development guidance systems.
• Collaborate with functional and program management.
• Support component level design and test reviews.
• Mentor and be mentored within a strong team culture.
• Travel approximately 25% of the time.
• Participate in lifecycle activities from design to integration and testing.
