Job summary

Vantage Data Centers in the United States seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer to own all aspects of electrical engineering for new data center designs, shaping standards and reference designs across projects. This role requires strong leadership, deep power systems expertise, and the ability to drive standardization across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical power design and construction, data centers or mission-critical environments.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and electrical design software; knowledge of regional standards.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of energy storage and generation into data center infrastructure.
• Develop standards and design criteria for generation and energy storage topology and commissioning.
• Evaluate interconnection, protection, and control philosophies for generation assets.
• Oversee design quality, coordination, and handoff to regional teams and partners.
• Support product development from concept through implementation.
