Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Principal Engineer to define the architectural vision across FuzeRx and partner teams. You will drive the design of high‑volume, distributed systems on AWS, PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails, Python and TypeScript/JavaScript, ensuring scalability, reliability and security for health‑tech platforms.

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will mentor staff engineers, establish engineering standards and CI/CD practices, and collaborate with Product, Pharmacy Operations and InfoSec

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive software engineering and systems design.
Experience building scalable, high-throughput B2B SaaS or transactional systems.
Proven skills in distributed system design and architecture.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve target architecture for core platforms and APIs.
Lead design and execution of high-volume, distributed systems.
Mentor Staff, Senior and Mid-level engineers; lead design reviews.
Establish and enforce coding standards, testing frameworks, and CI/CD.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering Managers, and Operations for alignment.
Partner with InfoSec to ensure HIPAA/SOC2 compliance and data security.
