Job summary

Fuze Health, Idaho-based, seeks a Principal Engineer to drive architectural vision across engineering teams, shaping high-throughput, compliant healthcare platforms.

You will mentor staff, set engineering standards, and collaborate with product and operations to align technical direction with clinical goals. Expertise in AWS, PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails, Python, and TypeScript/JavaScript is required to scale our digital pharmacy and API fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive hands-on software engineering and systems design experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the target architecture for FuzeRx's core platforms.
• Mentor Staff, Senior, and Mid-level engineers and elevate engineering culture.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, including CI/CD and security-by-design.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering Managers, and Pharmacy Operations.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOC2, and other regulatory requirements.
• Lead performance and reliability initiatives across AWS and PostgreSQL.
• Evaluate new tools and run POCs to improve the FuzeRx ecosystem.
