Wellnow-Urgent-Care in Akron, OH seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to deliver comprehensive primary care across the lifespan. You will diagnose, treat, educate, and coordinate care in a team-based setting.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with specialists, and execution of in-scope procedures with EMR support using E-ClinicalWorks.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Ohio as NP-C/ FNP or PA-C (or eligible).
• Experience in primary care, family medicine or internal medicine.
• Ability to manage a broad patient panel across all ages.
• E-ClinicalWorks EMR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical exams, assessments, and patient histories.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions.
• Provide primary care support across multiple specialties.
• Perform in-scope procedures.
• Collaborate with ENT, Surgical, and Medical Subspecialties to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide emergency and urgent interventions when necessary.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications.

What You’ll Do:

• CertifiedNurse Practitioner (NP-C/FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)licensed in the state of Ohio
• Must be experienced in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine
• Comfortable managing a broad patient panel across all ages and backgrounds
• Proficient in clinical procedures relevant to outpatient care
• Strong communication and empathy skills—your ability toconnectwith patients matters as much as your clinical expertise
