Job summary

Hometown Urgent Care in Massillon, OH seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to deliver comprehensive primary care across the lifespan in a collaborative team-based environment.

You will conduct exams, diagnose and manage conditions, provide education, and coordinate with ENT, Surgical and Medical Subspecialties, using E-ClinicalWorks EMR. Ohio-licensed NP-C/FNP or PA-C required; strong communication and empathy essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Ohio as NP-C/FNP or PA-C.
• Experience in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine.
• Ability to manage a broad patient panel across all ages.
• Proficient in outpatient clinical procedures.
• Strong communication and empathy; connect with patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical exams, assessments and patient histories.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions.
• Provide primary care support across multiple specialties.
• Perform in-scope procedures.
• Collaborate with ENT, Surgical and Medical Subspecialties for continuity of care.
• Utilize E-ClinicalWorks for documentation.
• Provide emergency and urgent interventions when necessary.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, prevention strategies and lifestyle changes.

• CertifiedNurse Practitioner (NP-C/FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)licensed in the state of Ohio
• Must be experienced in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine
• Comfortable managing a broad patient panel across all ages and backgrounds
• Proficient in clinical procedures relevant to outpatient care
• Strong communication and empathy skills—your ability toconnectwith patients matters as much as your clinical expertise
