Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our primary care team. The MA will support a physician across patient care, reception duties, and clinical workflows to ensure exceptional guest experiences. Candidates should have at least 1 year of MA experience, completed MA training, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration is preferred; required in certain states.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications/immunizations per physician order.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and patient check-in/out.
• Document and communicate test results and patient information.
• Maintain supplies and equipment in clinical and treatment areas.
