CHI Health Clinic in Lincoln, NE seeks a Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant (MA/CMA) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care, perform vital patient assessments, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes keen assessment skills, critical thinking, and a patient-first mindset, with responsibilities from vital signs to specimen handling, medications, and vaccines, within established clinic workflows.

Competenze

• ABHES/CAAHEP-accredited medical assisting program is required.
• Completion of Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Mansioni

• Perform general patient care following clinic workflows.
• Greet and prepare patients by recording vitals, reviewing allergies/current medications, screening questionnaires, and visit reasons.
• Collect and prepare specimens for lab analysis.
• Provide ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
• Perform other duties within scope as assigned.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant (MA/CMA), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. Expectations

• Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.
• Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reasons for visit.
• Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
• Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
• Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Pay Range

$18.06 - $25.51 /hour
