CHI Health Clinic in Nebraska is hiring a Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant (MA/CMA) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care across patient encounters. You will perform skilled assessments, participate in interdisciplinary teams, and support optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced clinic.

You will greet patients, record vital signs, prepare specimens, and administer medications or vaccines as directed, while maintaining a patient-first approach and adherence to established

Competenze

• ABHES/CAAHEP-accredited medical assisting program completion.
• Current certification for medical assistants (AAMA CMA, RMA, NCMA).
• Completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or equivalent.
• BLS from American Heart Association.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant (MA/CMA), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. Expectations:

• Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.
• Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reasons for visit.
• Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
• Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

Job Requirements

Required:

• Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
• Current/valid nationally recognized certification, registration or recognition for medical assistants (AAMA/CMA, RMA, NCMA)
• Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Pay Range

$18.96 - $26.78 /hour
