Job summary

CHI Health Clinic in Omaha's Immanuel OB Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant (MA/CMA) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care. You will collaborate within an interdisciplinary team and perform vital duties to support patient well-being and recovery.

The role requires ABHES/CAAHEP-accredited education, a Medication Aide course, and BLS certification. Sign-on bonus and education assistance are offered to eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ABHES- or CAAHEP-accredited medical assisting program.
• Completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide general patient care following clinic workflows.
• Greet and prepare patients, record vitals, review allergies and meds, document visit reason.
• Collect and prepare specimens for lab analysis.
• Prepare and provide ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
• Perform other duties within scope of role as assigned.

As our Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant (MA/CMA) located at our Immanuel OB Clinic off of 72nd & Sorenson Pkwy, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. Expectations:

• Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.
• Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reasons for visit.
• Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
• Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

Job Requirements
