Job summary

IMS Care Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a friendly Front Office Representative for our Primary Care team. The role focuses on phone support, patient check-in/out, scheduling, and basic office duties in a fast-paced clinic.

This part-time position (29 hours or less per week) does not include benefits. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of customer service experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service skills and experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and organize front office tasks and workflow.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to take initiative, work well with an established team.
• Excellent organizational sills.
• Computer skills using Microsoft software, scheduling software, and email applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide office support to front office staff in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of office flow.
• Check patients in and out
• Receive direct and relay telephone messages
• Maintain and keep an updated scanning/filing system
• Have an understanding of insurance referral processes
• Provide word-processing and secretarial support
• Ability to multi-task and execute delegated duties
