Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage physician clinic schedules
• Greet patients and explain services, payments, and billing procedures
• Check-in/check-out duties and verify demographics, scan insurance cards
• Schedule prep the day before by verifying insurance and outstanding items
• Collect co-pays and review insurance coverage and patient charges
• Answer incoming calls and route to appropriate staff
• Review daily schedule for authorizations and copays
• Make reminder calls for next-day appointments and follow up on no-shows
