Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Financial Pricing to lead pricing strategy and financial oversight across sales and operations. You will mentor analysts, model margins, and drive process improvements to optimize profitability.

You will partner with pricing, sales, and operations leadership to structure deals, evaluate costs, and forecast financial impact, ensuring disciplined decision-making and risk-aware opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong financial and analytical acumen; translate data into business insights.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau and SQL for visibility and analysis.
• Familiarity with AI tools (Copilot, Claude) for business applications.
• Ability to influence leaders with data-driven recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and organizational discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop analysts and team members.
• Act as financial advisor to sales and operations leadership.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and process optimization.
• Provide analytical and financial support for pricing, including deal structuring.
• Provide commissions calculations, sales analytics, and performance reporting.
• Assist pricing team with pricing guidelines, tools, and strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, HR on pricing and incentives.
• Train field and sales teams on pricing methodology and variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain pricing/financial models for field evaluation.
• Advise on risk, cost controls, and business opportunities.
• Support monthly forecasting and annual planning for pricing and profitability.
• Participate in deal strategy discussions to establish margins.
