Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Manager of Pricing & Estimation in California to lead pricing strategy and analysis for the Corrugated Division. You will coordinate with legal, commercial, and customer service to ensure proper pricing execution and governance across California.

Qualifications

• Strong pricing and estimating background.
• Ability to decipher pricing strategy to maximize Smurfit Westrock margin.
• Understanding of the Corrugated business and the California market.
• 10+ years of experience in commercially focused pricing or operations roles.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of pricing and analysis tools.
• Drive pricing tool and process improvements in pricing governance.
• Provide leadership with timely information to support commercial decisions.
• Support and drive margin enhancement projects.
• Manage pricing administration for contract customers and price-change mechanisms.
• Forecast impact of price changes for financial analysis.
• Audit and create price-change mechanisms for non-traditional instruments.
• Coordinate with local facilities to implement price lists and matrices.
• Maintain data and calculations for pricing, estimating and analysis tools.
• Keep pricing templates up-to-date for pricing and costing information.
• Maintain Salesforce.com contract repository accuracy and up-to-date.
• Coordinate with peers across divisions on contract details for customers touching multiple parts of WestRock.
• Develop tools to monitor inflationary pressures and communicate wider price-change mechanisms.
