Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Manager of Pricing & Estimation in California to lead pricing strategy and analysis for the Corrugated Division. You will coordinate with legal, commercial, and customer service to ensure proper pricing execution and governance across California.
The role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing, and the ability to influence negotiation strategies. Local travel to CA corrugated division sites will be part of the job.
Please note: this role is NOT a fully remote WFH opportunity. We are open to location within California, as long as the candidate can travel to one of our onsite California Corrugated Division locations multiple times per week.
Corrugated Division locations in California are: Fresno (2 sites), Los Angeles (3 sites), San Francisco (2 sites). Candidate must be local and able to commute to one of those seven locations as part of the job requirements for this role.
The Manager of Pricing & Estimation plays an integral role in ensuring that Smurfit Westrock generates appropriate margin levels for the products and services that we provide with our customers. This role influences the commercial team’s negotiation strategies and coordinates with legal, commercial, and customer service teams to ensure that pricing levels are properly executed and administered across the Corrugated Division in California.
To succeed in the Manager of Pricing and Estimation role, an individual must be able to quickly analyze data, understand the strategic objectives of Smurfit Westrock and how they apply to specific customers, have an understanding of various pricing philosophies and be able to recognize which philosophy best fits for a given situation, and be able to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization.
The salary range for this position is $102,750.00 - $171,250.00, depending on your role, level, and location. The range listed is also the expected pay for roles in Illinois and Colorado. The benefits for this role include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 15 days of paid vacation, and 11 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change. Your pay will be based on factors such as your skills, experience, and education.
