Job summary

Center for Justice Innovation in Staten Island, NY is seeking a Clinician for the Supervised Release Program (SRP). Clinicians deliver crisis intervention, intake assessments, and timely court reporting, coordinating with partners to support participant stabilization and compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a mental health field is required with 3 years of direct practice experience.
• LMSW or mental health license is preferred.
• Experience in pretrial, court-based, or criminal legal systems is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform intakes and holistic assessments for participants.
• Develop voluntary service and resource plans addressing criminogenic needs.
• Make referrals and support engagement with services.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
• Coordinate with case managers and court stakeholders; ensure timely court reports.
