Job summary

Center for Justice Innovation in Brooklyn, NY seeks a Clinical Manager for the Supervised Release Program (SRP). Reporting to the Director of Practice, Programming and Partnerships, you will supervise SRP Clinicians delivering intake, assessment, and evidence-based group and individual programming to address participant needs and court mandates.

This full-time, in-person role requires licensure (LMSW/MHC or equivalent; LCSW preferred), 4 years direct practice and 2 years supervisory experience,

Qualifications

• LMSW, MHC or equivalent licensure is required; LCSW preferred.
• 4 years direct clinical practice and 2 years supervisory experience.
• Group work development and facilitation experience preferred.
• Experience in pretrial or criminal legal system preferred.
• Experience supporting people with specialized needs such as substance abuse or mental health services.
• Therapeutic intervention training including crisis de-escalation preferred.
• Knowledge of local social service providers required.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Trauma-informed and strength-based approaches preferred.
• Training in Motivational Interviewing and CBT preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong collaboration with judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, and court staff.
• Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly supervision and bi-weekly group supervision to SRP Clinicians.
• Provide clinical support in community offices and coordinate emergency services as needed.
• Provide coverage for Clinicians as needed.
• Review mandatory programming recommendations before submission to court.
• Support policy and protocol implementation with site leadership and SRP team.
• Ensure SRP staff are trained through collaboration with Training Institute and Training Liaison.
• Co-facilitate required clinical trainings, including intake and assessment and de-escalation training.
• Collaborate with Center’s Court Reform team to implement group and individual programming.
• Oversee quality assurance and ensure compliance with program requirements and reporting obligations.
• Maintain cross-team communication to identify successes and opportunities for collaboration.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training for new clinical staff.
• Facilitate access to external professional development for all staff.
